Itinerary : Off road Motorcycle North Vietnam – motorbike tour 6 days
1. Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park (~150km)
Within in one day offroad through the narrow lanes and farms of the Vietnamese countryside, you will pass through corn fields, rice lands or stop by the local’s houses to discover their daily activities.
In the afternoon, our tour guide will take you to visit the night market in Cuc Phuong National park. Stunned with the paths by the forest or its rich tropical fauna and flora.
Stay overnight at a Muong family nearby a beautiful waterfall.
2. Cuc Phuong National Park – Mai Chau (~130km)
In the afternoon, our guide will take you through the only roads over Pu Luong National Park. This is still a primitive area with many villages of the Thai and Muong people. You will feel like getting lost in the forest.
In the evening, stay overnight in the local stilt house of the Thai people in Mai Chau.
3. Mai Chau – Old highway 6 – Son La (~170km)
In the afternoon, continue the journey on the legendary highway no. 6. This is an old road which was built during the French Colonization (1954). On this road line, numerous weapons and food were transferred up north Dien Bien Phu.
Travelling on this high way, you will have the chance to experience impressive off-roads with green valleys on one side and mountains on the other.
Stay overnight in Son La city.
4. Son La – Than Uyen (~120km)
In the afternoon, ride over the paths through Hmong villages. Our guide will take you through quiet fields on the only roads.
Stay overnight at the hotel in Than Uyen town.
5. Than Uyen – Sapa (~100km)
You will have chance to experience Vietnam’s highest pass, namely O Qui Ho. After this pass, you will reach Sapa which is famous for its wonderful landscape and climate. Before arriving the Hmong village where you are going to stay overnight, go for a walk through rice terraces. Overnight at the local Hmong family and enjoy Sapa cuisine.
6. Around Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi (~100km)
Discovering Sapa town in the Hmong ethnic market and walking through mountain ranges and villages are always irresistible activities during the trip as one way to relax after long days riding on your motorbikes.
In the afternoon, head to Lao Cai city, have dinner and get ready for the train back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi at 6 am the next morning.
